Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • They are not separate corporations.
  • They are not separate limited liability companies.
  • They are not being represented as independently registered legal entities.
  • They are also not being identified on this website as registered DBAs or assumed business names of 3D Chess Media, LLC.

A website may publicly operate under a recognizable brand name while the underlying contractual or legal relationship is with 3D Chess Media, LLC.

Why Our Websites Use Different Brand Names

Different markets require different research, expertise, audiences, methodologies, and editorial approaches. A consumer researching a stairlift has very different needs from: A business selecting CRM software, A homeowner choosing a moving company, A borrower evaluating a mortgage lender, and A marketing executive measuring AI search visibility. Rather than combine unrelated markets into one general publication, 3D Chess Media develops specialized properties focused on individual categories. Each property can therefore develop its own:

  • Audience
  • Editorial structure
  • Research methodology
  • Subject-matter focus
  • Data
  • Brand identity
  • Commercial model
  • Disclosures
  • Review standards

The existence of separate websites does not mean the underlying ownership or operational relationships should be hidden. This page exists to make those relationships clear.

LLM Authority Index and CiteWorks Studio

Two businesses within The 3D Chess Media Portfolio have a particularly close relationship.

LLM Authority Index

LLM Authority Index focuses primarily on: measurement, research, data, and competitive intelligence. It studies how companies, competitors, websites, and sources appear across AI-generated answers and modern search environments.

CiteWorks Studio

CiteWorks Studio focuses primarily on: strategy, implementation, marketing, and commercial application. It works with companies seeking to improve how they are understood, retrieved, cited, compared, and recommended across AI-driven discovery environments.

Measurement and Implementation

The relationship between these businesses can be summarized as: LLM Authority Index measures what is happening. CiteWorks Studio works on what can potentially be changed. Because both businesses operate within the same corporate portfolio, that relationship represents a potential commercial conflict when research conducted by LLM Authority Index concerns markets in which CiteWorks Studio competes or provides services. That relationship should be disclosed where materially relevant. Ownership does not give CiteWorks Studio additional recommendation credit in LLM Authority Index research.

Likewise, LLM Authority Index should not alter underlying research findings merely because a result may benefit or disadvantage CiteWorks Studio.

Relationship With Consensus Index Properties

Several properties within The 3D Chess Media Portfolio use or may use structured research involving multiple AI systems. These properties may study:

  • Which companies AI systems recommend
  • Where recommendations agree
  • Where recommendations differ
  • Recommendation position
  • Supporting reasoning
  • Citation behavior
  • Source overlap
  • Changes over time

LLM Authority Index may provide research infrastructure, datasets, methodologies, measurement systems, or related support to these properties. CiteWorks Studio may provide AI search subject-matter experience, terminology, methodology input, marketing context, or related expertise. Those relationships should not be interpreted as providing either business with preferential treatment in underlying research.

Commercial Relationships Can Exist Across the Portfolio

3D Chess Media operates commercial businesses. Individual properties may generate revenue through methods including:

  • Affiliate commissions
  • Advertising
  • Lead generation
  • Client services
  • Research products
  • Data products
  • Subscription services
  • Sponsorship
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Referral relationships
  • Software or technology
  • Other commercial arrangements

The exact business model may differ by property. Where a commercial relationship could reasonably affect how a reader interprets research, rankings, recommendations, reviews, or editorial content, the relevant property should disclose that relationship.

Affiliate Relationships

Some properties within The 3D Chess Media Portfolio may participate in affiliate marketing. This means a portfolio property may receive compensation if a visitor: Clicks a link, Requests information, Purchases a product, Signs up for a service, and Completes another qualifying action. with a participating commercial partner. The existence of an affiliate relationship does not necessarily mean the company will receive favorable treatment within structured research. Where a property reports underlying AI recommendation data, the objective is to preserve the observed result.

A commercial partner may:

  • Rank first
  • Rank last
  • Rank behind a non-partner
  • Receive limited recommendation coverage
  • Fail to appear
  • Lose visibility over time

A company without an affiliate relationship may also outperform companies that generate revenue for a portfolio property. More information is available in our:

Research Results and Commercial Interests

3D Chess Media does not claim that its research operations exist without commercial interests. They do. The more useful approach is to identify those interests and create processes intended to keep them visible. Where structured AI recommendation research is published, the underlying observation should not be changed simply because the result is commercially inconvenient. For example, if a study finds: Company A: recommended by 6 of 7 AI systems, and Commercial Partner B: recommended by 2 of 7 AI systems, the presence of a commercial relationship should not turn: 2 of 7, into: 6 of 7.

Likewise, if a related 3D Chess Media business performs strongly in a study, the relationship should not require us to hide the observed result. The appropriate response is: preserve the research and disclose the relationship.

AI Agreement Is Not Proof of Objective Superiority

Some portfolio properties analyze recommendations made by multiple AI systems. If several AI platforms recommend the same company, the research may describe that as consensus or agreement among the systems tested. That does not necessarily mean the AI systems represent completely independent sources of expert judgment. AI systems may share: Search results, Training information, Publishers, Websites, Company information, Reviews, Research, and Other underlying sources. For that reason, a finding such as: 6 of 7 AI systems recommended Company A, means exactly that.

It does not automatically mean: six independent experts proved Company A is objectively the best company. Portfolio properties should distinguish observed machine agreement from broader claims of objective superiority.

Individual Properties Maintain Their Own Standards

The 3D Chess Media Portfolio includes properties covering very different subject areas. Accordingly, individual websites may maintain their own:

  • Editorial standards
  • Research methodologies
  • Reviewer policies
  • Conflict disclosures
  • Affiliate disclosures
  • Corrections policies
  • Financial disclaimers
  • Medical or health disclaimers
  • Legal disclaimers
  • Data limitations
  • Human review policies

The policies applicable to a particular article, study, ranking, review, or website should be read on the property where that information is published. This corporate disclosure is intended to explain the broader ownership and portfolio relationships. It does not replace the more specific disclosures maintained by individual properties.

Subject-Matter Review

Some portfolio properties may use subject-matter reviewers. The purpose of human review can vary depending on the property and research. A reviewer may examine areas such as: Factual accuracy, Industry terminology, Research interpretation, Consumer context, Material omissions, Methodological compliance, Risk, Claims, and Limitations. A reviewer does not necessarily control the underlying research result. Where research is based on observed AI responses, human review should not be used to manufacture additional recommendations for a preferred company or remove unfavorable recommendations from competitors.

The scope of individual review relationships should be disclosed on the relevant property.

3D Chess Media or one of its properties may accept sponsorship for certain research projects. Where appropriate, sponsorship should be clearly disclosed. A research sponsor may help fund: Data collection, Surveys, Research production, Analysis, Visualization, Publication, and Distribution. Sponsorship should not be represented as independent funding when it is not. Likewise, sponsoring research should not automatically purchase:

  • A favorable conclusion
  • A guaranteed ranking
  • Additional AI recommendation credit
  • Removal of unfavorable findings
  • Preferential treatment within an underlying dataset

The research should remain capable of producing a result the sponsor does not prefer.
